WELCOME TO JUBILEE MEDICAL GROUP
The doctors and staff at Jubilee Medical Group are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare. We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.
Jubilee Medical Group consists of a main site at Cobblers Hall, Newton Aycliffe and two branch sites at Burke Street, Shildon as well as Spencer Street in Eldon. The same clinical staff and services are available at all three sites.
In addition to everything you need to know about the practice you will also find a wealth of health-related information in the menu on the right hand side.
Please view our appointments page for a full explanation of how our appointment system works, including how to arrange telephone consultations and home visits.
Everything you need to know about 7 day access to Primary Care Services
The NHS would like patients to always think GP practice first if they feel unwell. GP practices are open 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday. If you need to be seen the same day (unplanned clinical need) requiring a same day primary care clinical response they should always contact their GP practice first or NHS111 after 6pm and during weekends.

Navigate through the categories to find the support you need, or use the search function by clicking on the magnifying glass icon in the map toolbar;
- On the map home screen, the search function searches all organisations in the directory.
- When you have a category open, the search function searches all data within that category.
RPOS – Repeat Prescription Ordering System
As from the 2nd September Community pharmacies and third party companies will no longer be able to order medication from the practice on behalf of patients. Patients will be required to order their own medication directly with the practice. This can be done by:
Online ordering from the practice
Calling the voice mail line (01325 328901)
Using the tear off part of the repeat prescription, identifying the items required
There will be no restrictions on community pharmacies and third party companies collecting prescriptions on patient’s behalf, to prepare prescriptions in advance and arranging delivery of medicines.
Please tell us if you would recommend our practice by completing the Friends and Family Test next time you visit your local surgery. You can do this via the 'Elephant Kiosk' at Cobblers Hall Surgery or by completing a Friends and Family feedback form at Burke Street Surgery and Dene Valley Surgery. You could also complete the test online via the 'Have Your Say' section of our website. Please see reception staff for further information.
During the month of August we asked our patients to provide feedback on the services we provide by completing our Patient Survey. If you would like to view the results please follow the link below.
